This was created as part of an application for a graphic design position at UCLA’s Fowler Museum. Because slideshow-type videos are sometimes used to promote exhibitions, I created this example for Remain In Light: Visions of Homeland and Diaspora.

The aspect ratio is at Instagram’s preferred 4:5. Therefore, the black negative space surrounding the images and text is wider than that of the Fowler’s original graphic. I matched the font of the original which appeared to be Helvetica Neue. The video was exported so that it would appear crisp and clear on its intended platform.
